Back in '93, when I was did my 5-speed conversion, I bought a brand new driveshaft from Bekkers. The one they sent me was for a 4-speed car. When I measured it, I knew it was a 4-speed shaft, so I sent it back. When ordering, I had gone to the trouble to give the guy the right part number over the phone to be sure to get the right one.
I wonder if they've had this thing in the box all that time.
I was pretty ticked off at the time, so I order the correct 5-speed shaft from Maximillian.
(BTW, Paul Wegweiser is no longer at Maximillian and the guy I spoke to last time was completely useless.)
