On the transmission, hard to say, never tried it myself, all the seals and anything else rubber or plastic will of course be bad. Depending on how hot it got, the case could be warped, but maybe not, and I would think the gears would be good. Turn it over and see how it feels. That might give you some indication, or drain the oil and look at it.
