When lee cornetts green race car bruned down at bobs place the trans actuall melted so no experience there but the 4;10 blanton diff was sitting in the cabin and looked friece. took it apart cleaned it up inspected it re sealed the entire thing beed blasted it painted it and ran it in my own race car for several months with no problems at all . so in a nut shell inspect and assess the damage good luck
