None officially imported, although there are a few private cars. Ditto E28 M5. None of these would be driven on the road; they're all in collectors' hands. My guess would be fake.
BTW, you guys in the States are lucky with the E24s; they're cheap there. In Oz, whether a 77-81 or 86-89, they're _ludicrously_ priced. Thus my refusal to buy what is., essentially, an E12 or E28 with 2 fewer doors.
As Lars said many moons ago, the drool factor of these cars gets you writing the cheque within 20 yards. Think I'll stick to well-maintained E12s at 1/3 of the price of poorly-preserved E24s.
