Hello, how does the L-jetronic FI respond to any increase in lift on the camshaft? How can you check the lift on a camshaft? I swapped out a motor into my 528i and I cannot get it to idle correctly to save my life. I've checked timing, vacuum leaks, tune up. The thing is, the engine performs very very well above 2,000 rpm. The motor came out of 72 bavaria, it had twin webers and a header on it. I'm just wondering if it could have some head work done. The date on the head was 83. Any help would be appreciated,
