Hello All,
I'm proud to say that I am the new owner of my first E12 - a rust-free 1977 530i 4spd. This is no small task considering the fact that I live in eastern Canada (rust central). I purchased the car from a guy in Alberta with the help of the local BMW club president Peter Spencer. I'll post some pictures at a later time.
Anyway the probelm is that the shipper broke the driver window glass. The shipper's insurance will cover the replacement cost ($660 CDN from dealer), but there is a $500 deductable!! Does anyone have the driver's door glass that they can sell? My car does not have the side mirror in the front corner of the window - it is mounted about 10" back from the corner on the door skin. Any help is appreciated.
