The badging on all Euro Motorsport 6's all just had a front M badge and Rear M badge, they didn't have the 635 badge. The usa versions had an M6 rear badge. When checking out a would be Motorsport 6 series they were all made as manual and the front air dams were deeper than the standard 6. However I know in the UK after about 1988 they did make a few motorsport editions of the standard 635. These would have had the M635 badging, they were basically a highline 635 with the mtech bodykits and interior styling and could come in autos. hope this helps. I've had 4 6's in the past year and looked at hundreds.
