Don't forget fuel along with oil and air. And do yourself a big favor and install a later top bolt type of oil filter. It makes changes so much easier. And Redline synthetic in the tranny and diff are good too, they even claim 2-4% HP increase, but I've never felt it. And it's more an upgrade than maintenance, but how about an electronic ignition off a 528i, or an early 733 if you want to keep tne same advance curve. The only bad part is plugs last so long you forget when you last changed them!
