It was filmed 1982 and released 1983.
I've never seen an E12 in a Bond film, although there are many E12 520s and Bavs in that famous UK '70s police series, 'The Sweeney'. All appear to be the criminals' car of choice (along with Cortinas, which is the tasteless criminal's car of choice).
If you're familiar with the '70s Cortina, they used to say in Britain that at least if your Cortina was stolen, you'd be comforted by the fact that the thief was uncomfortable, sweaty and deafened by noise.
