We've been in Chinook weather now for about 10 days. Above 0 C days and only down to about -7 C at night...very pleasant. Expected to be like this for another week...after that..who knows.

My car is an original Calgary car so not so fortunate as far as rust is concerned. Front fenders, front valence, rear valence, front shock mounts, rear quarter panels, doors, bottom of windshield, etc. Only place without ANY rust is the roof, frame, engine bay and rear window pillars. Luckily I have found some rust free front fenders, trunk lid and hood and the rest I am hoping will be easy enough to fix (including the gas tank). Aside from that, the car runs great. Has been a really good winter car, heats up very fast and has been awesome in the ice and snow (with 4 studded snows no less).

Reluctantly, I will post some pics for all to see the before then the after transformation.

Cheers.

P.S. By the way, how easy is it to fix the gas tank? I have never removed one before.
