Karl,

I just replaced the hoses in the back of the car. It's fairly easy but then again it's not -xx degrees below zero in Southern VA. If you have an impact gun it will help greatly.

Remove the two bolts holding the exhaust to the very back of the car. Two bolts to go. Loosen the one under the quarter panel and loosen the last one on the fuel pump side. I say loosen so the tank doesn't fall down and pull the vent lines with it. Simply unscrew the hose clamps on the prepump or sending unit, whichever you have and pull the hoses through. I would replace all of them including the ones up front. Mine looked like a garden hose one day. It could have been very bad. I highly recommend getting the hose from the dealership if you are planing to hold onto the car and only want to do this once. There is another fuel hose that is cheaper and also will last half as long. Your choice.

New hose clamps can't hurt either.

I had access to a lift. (I was lucky) It took me 20 minutes total. If I didn't have to search for tools, it would have been faster.

Jeff C.
