Did your E12 have a trunk carpet, Brian? I'm just curious, as my E12s have much better quality trunk carpets than the E28. How does this compare? If memory serves, the size is about the same.
(OT, whoever thought of self-earthing bulbs instead of 2 good old-fashioned _wires_ on the E28 should be &^%^!!% shot. Unlike the reliable E12 tail/indicator/fog lamps; their connectors fail constantly. And, as any E28 owner will tell you, the E28 tails are prone to condensation. Just check out the rust at either trunk corner).
