The hoses are in fact 8mm and as was mentioned earlier, use high-pressure fuel injection hose. This job is kind of a pain. Unless you have really small hands, the intake manifold has to come off, but maybe I did it the hard way?
I simply pulled the injectors and ground off the flare, split the hose with a razor blade and peeled it off. Then I put on the new 8mm high pressure hose and used normal hose clamps. No leaks AND I am using a rising rate fuel pressure regulator for the turbo. In case you don't know a RRFPR closes off the return line, increasing fuel pressure to the injectors, so my install would be worst case.
