And you will hear from everybody that you should take a look at the book "Maximum Boost" by Corky Bell.
Adam Wilson posted some great pics of a really nice German e12 (M535)turbo set up. It uses a modified M5(e28)intake manifold.
You have quite a few options depending on what your goals are.
