A few weeks ago I commented in a start stalling that was startgin to happen.
Had local auto elect have a look at - concluded tht the fuel pump was failng ought ot replace.
so I checked out replacment boshe part
BMW - $473
soemother - $350
my usual supplier- $250
Evindely the boshe fuel pump is th same as used on VN commodors, ford falcons etc -so I check their price - $195 at Allparts.
Any way I have installed the fuel pump. with new filter, and a couple of new fuel hoses around the fuel pump (8mm @ $25/lm)
took a bit to start ,started to run for about 2 mintues at a good RPM +1500
, but then began to falter, idle very rough (dropped down to 400RPM) pedal mad eno differnce, and now won't start at all -
Maybe fuel not getting to through - yep fuel at injector rail
Any ideas on what to do now, cause it wont start at all now.
