So... in my quest for a clutch line, I decided to look for a used on (Thanks Velocewest for reminding me about Bend Salvage). I had heard rumors that there was an e12 at that yard, but this was the first time I had needed something bad enough to drive 4 miles to find it.

When I got to where the rumored e12 was stored, I found not one, but 4 530/528 bodies NOT (repeat NOT) rusting away. Remember... that does not happen here in Central Oregon. None of the cars were wrecked, some mechanical parts were missing, and 95% of all the sheet metal was still there, as well as glass and other items.

If anyone is interested in talking with these people, they are Bend Auto Recyclers, and the telephone number is 541-382-1987. Oh yeah, and one reasonably complete body for a 2002... sheetmetal only.

PS, got my clutch line both parts ... rubber and hard line, and bracket. $15. The rubber cleaned up as new and supple as a new one... attributable to the car friendly Central Oregon environment, of course.
