Just wanted to publicly proclaim what a blast it was to meet Adam and Mike today and tear around in their cool E12's.
Adam's M535 is an absolute joy, and you've got to hear that engine note to believe it. He's a man possessed, and that car is going to look like it just rolled off the Munich assembly line before too long. What a remarkably wonderful car, and what a blast!
Mike's uber-530, on the other hand, is like some kind of nitrous crazed, turbo-charged, top-fuel dragster - what a kick. If that power is from a turbo that's not yet "sorted", I can't imagine that beast once he's got it properly set up. I wouldn't change a thing about the car, Mike, except maybe to weld down anything even remotely attached to that engine (and keep a spare diff in the trunk, just in case)!
Thanks, Adam for hosting the get-together. Hope to see you guys soon, and hope to see some pics posted that Adam & Mike took (I was an idiot and forgot the memory card for my camera).
