Based on the quality of your posts, I'm sure any FAQ you produced would be very informative. And I certainly don't want to step on any toes. I just thought that if several First Fivers contributed their assembly tips etc that we could end up with a nice collection that one (or more) of us could fashion into a comprehensive Engine Assembly FAQ with photos etc..
For example, I was Googling on "angle torquing" a few minutes ago and hit on one of your previous posts here on First Fives:) My 1977 BMW Repair Manual only lists old style torque specs (i.e. ft/lbs not degrees). Frankly, I'm not sure where I would find these newer specs but my guess is that some First Fiver does. And hopefully will post the specs (or the link) _before_ I torque my mains/rods again;)
