Well, if it makes you feel any better, the airdam is no longer on the car after an accident my wife had in teh car. Don't ask. The airdam was from Racing Dynamics and had to be modified to fit because of my shortened USA bumpers. Also, the installation was a bit of a hack job. There are two long stips of metal bolted to the underside of my bumper. Those strips clamp down on a lip that's part of teh aridam. The bolts are tightened down and the strips act as a clamp to hold the airdam in place. It was kind of a hack IMHO, even though I never had any trouble with it until my wife decided to drive over a median. I still haven't replaced it, but I'm not sure I'll go the same route as before.
