I'm just saying that I believe the cars are going to be worth more and more as they become more and more rare. (dahhh...) this is nothing new to how things in general increase in value. but value is also determined by beauty ... as in "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". true, it is a 4door sedan, not the style that has people jumping, but the e12... once the most popular car and body style on the road so much so that everyone had one (ie the yuppie generation)... and now they are mostly gone. I cant believe how many get crushed and still have tons of parts in them we'd all be willing to pay. the day of the e12 is not today. it is coming. jonas at bmw/na told me in an unsolicited remark that of all the four cars that were on display, my silly old e12 got the most commentary and interest, largely because the journalists that visited the roll-out, having seen them on every street corner back in the early 80's, see so few today. mark my confident word: the day of the e12 is coming.
