well the old 2.8l is out and the 'new' euro 3.5l sits on the engine stand next to it. this weekend it'll go in.
i just received a engine tilter from summit which should make installation much easier as i pulled it with the trans.
i took this opportunity to compare e12 and e28 exhausts side by side, it looks like the e28 exhaust will fit just fine and allow me to use the dual manifolds from the 635csi. my only concern is the clearance for the rear muffler, but i'll let you know.
also, i unfortunately managed to separate the driveshaft, so it looks like i'll have to use one of my spares and since i have to pull the rear half of the shaft i might as well add the 3.07 lsd and then the rd springs and bilstein sports... and the e30 sport seats, and... the list goes on and on...
