I'm the lucky new owner (picking up 1 week from today) of Kurt C's lovely 528i. I have a friend with an e28 535i and he painted his bumpers and all trim delphin grey to match his car's body. I noticed in the member's cars area that nobody has attempted this? Kurt's (my) car is metallic lime I don't know the color name. Any thoughts, comments or otherwise about this practice? I will probably do it right away if nobody objects. Should I do monochrome- body color, or should I do something like a dark grey or black?
Any experience in removing trim that I may otherwise damage on removal or reinstallation would be much appreciated.
