I saw a fellow who painted the middle strip of chrome to give it the apperance of a newer car. It also made it look lower and longer and not so square(lack of better word) He painted his the same as his body color, but it also was dark. I dont beleive(its just my own opinion) that your green would look good. If you do I suggest using a dark color(black?) Try just the middle first and see what it looks like, leaving one strip of chrome outlining your windows. If you dont like that you can always do the rest. Once I used electrical(black) tape and taped off parts of the chrome and stood back and looked at it. its amazing how little changes the apperence of the car. I would also note that the chrome on the e12 is one of the things that give this car "character" (again just my opinion). You might also what to black out the chrome around the front and rear windshield maybe even around the tail lights and side markers, around the headlights, and grill, even the center kidney grill. How about painting the whole car black and blackout everything you could and get blckened headlight and taillights, tint you windows and put in black interior.Ok...Maybe that went alittle to far, but as you see you could change the apperance very quickly. Im not sure how to take anything off...well I do, but Im not sure how to put it back on even if it could go back on. Good luck
