I left my oil cap off my car for about 15 miles in traffic. When I get to work i put the cap back on, luckly it was still there.I come back to beemy at lunch, start car, White smoke everywhere, out the exhaust, from underneath, from engine compartment. OH shit... I think,, bye bye head gasket,, or worse, cracked head. I come out later to move the car to a more secluded spot in the parking lot to leave overnight.. Less white..then,,, no white... I go hmmm, then back to worky. After work, I start car,, no smoke,,, drive home,, no smoke,, but its running slightly warmer. what the hell is going on?
