Hey I like that idea Gerry. I had looked at it for a 6" sub but decided a larger sub was the go. Never thought of putting the 6.9's there and having cut the holes (but just avoided the air void) I now wish I had.
Must install that sub one day but right now I am replacing the head with another I have with a hot cam,
fixing a fuel leak from an injector that was already removed cleaned and replaced just 6 months ago,
installing 320i intake runners,
replacing the water pump,
replacing the aux fan switch and anything else that relates to the head or the cooling system.
Never ending project these babies.
