I have an '03 E39 M5 in the garage that does all the thinking for me and makes just about anybody look good behind the wheel. More power than anyone really needs( although that V10 is tempting)
The E12 is so much more 'Raw', I just love the feedback I get through the seat of my pants, but you know, I really like to drive something 'different' too, and the E12 fits that bill. Another thing is, these cars are really well built, something that has been lost on the newer cars.
