Back by the starter there is a machined flat. You may very well have to clean it off to see anything, but it should be back there. They eventually discontinued it, but I think it should be there on an 80. Also, the displacement is stamped in there too, but smaller and very faint. The S/N isn't easy to read, but the displacement, such as 2.8 is very hard to see.
