I'd say the odds are good. I know my early ('77) e24 basic seats will bolt in an e12. The seat rails for standard seats are the same for e12, e24 and e23 per the HTK. The seat rails for 635CSi sport seats are the same as e23 rails, so chances are the e12 is not listed because it was no longer in production. The telling thing is the e28 is NOT listed, so the swap to e28 mechanicals on the e24 in '82 didn't affect things like seat mounting.
