Hi All,
After what seems like forever, my 528i restoration is almost finished! The car is to be registered on Monday and then can be driven around. It really looks fantastic and is quite a head turner. There are still a few things I need to do once I get it home, namely replacing the wiring to the doors for the central locking and electric mirrors. I also will be replacing all the stereo wiring and installing a new Blaupunkt Los Angeles CD radio.
I have included the link to a page where I have posted some of the photos I have taken today at the panel shop. Please have a look at them and tell me what you think. My camera tends to add more red to the colours, those of you that know Topasbraun will realise that it is quite a bronze colour and not quite as red tinged as these photos appear. The difference is of course that my entire car has had a complete respray so all the paint is new. The car looks brand new!
