A few days ago, I made a post about how it was difficult to start my car. I was pointed in the direction of a bad switch. I’m about to have the switch replaced, but I want to make sure that this is the problem first. It just seems very odd that the colder it gets outside, the more difficult it is to get my car to begin turning over. I know that it is not the starter though, because once I can get the key turned just right it will start no problem. I just wanted to know if this just sounds like a bad switch, or, if there could be something else happening here. Also, if I do replace the switch, will I still be able to use the same key?
