Well my daily driver '80 528i (Sapphire Blue) came to a sad end tonite on the way home from work. It was very wet out, thunderstorms, and I was about 1 kilometer from home.
Came around corner got about 50 meters down road doing ~60 kph and the back suddenly stepped out left, I tried to get it back, ended up fishtailing down the road with the back of the car slapping side to side. Cause was back right tyre blew. I'm now a passenger. Whack, Whack. Seeing stars now. Hit tree with front right guard just over wheel. Tree not move. Get out of car have look, bad. Dizzy, sit down on nature strip. I've got slight concusion, hit head on window, other wise not a scratch. (Glad I wasn't in some buzzbox). $170 later (Tow)I get home, check car. not good am now looking for another e12 528i. Any body in Melb OZ got one for sale.
Will post pics of mine tomorrow when the room stops spinning.
