Well Remy I desperately need transport to get to and from work and while the 520 is a bit underpowered it will get me to and from work. I intend to get another e12 528i and will be keeping my eye out for one but in the mean time this gives me transport.
Thanks for the heads up, some of the issues you mentioned are apparent in the beast but nothing major it seems. Basically I intend to drive the e28 while I build up a new e12. I need a good body and will put all my good bits from the wreck on it to make a good car.
