i do have a euro 520 originally with 6 cyl carb
i did the transplant to 528i with a 5 speed tranny
still the same radiator but removed the rad fan & installed electric fan with a programable temp setting works extremely well
You have to install a shorter drive shaft also since your 5 speed tranny will be longer
You can use the drive shaft from the auto tranny
