Concerning getting the SC 14 blower, shop around, pick up a copy of Zoom magazine, or Hot 4s. These mags will have listings of japanese parts specialists that sell whole engines/parts.
Alternatively go to the link, click where it says "forum" and sign up, it's free. Then you can post a message in the parts section asking if anyone has a blower handy. Zoom magazine probably has a similar website of its own.
Once you have the blower you basically have to do three things for completion, make a mount/belt for the blower (should be especially easy if your 520i hasn't got power steering, which it probably hasn't), have a section of tubing made so the forced air can reach the inlet manifold, rig up the engine's cold start solenoid (fifth injector in intake manifold) to come on when boost reaches 4 psi, this will give you enough enrichment under boost to avoid detonation.
Do a clean, thorough job and it will look like it came from BMW that way, that and you will have a car that feels like a good 530i. You really don't need an intercooler for a blower application of this sort (6-8 psi). You can fit one if you want, many available 2nd hand from Japanese cars, but it's really just icing on the cake.
