2.8i L-Jet -> 3.5i Motronic

Hi,

I might go see about an '86 3.5 Motronic engine this weekend and I need some hints. What should I look at/for in particular? The engine is still in the original car (E28 535iA), so I'll be able to drive it.

Further, if I decide to buy it, I'm also going to have to decide whether to go with the original L-Jet from my 2.8i or switch to the Motronic that comes with the engine. Any advice?

Another thing; the engine (which was orinally fitted with an auto-box) will come without a flywheel. Can I user my 2.8 flywheel? Is that the same thing?
