I would like to purchase the Bilstein sport struts for my 75 530I. However both Bavarian Auto Sport and Maximillian have indicated that only the Bilstein HD (Prt# P60024) is availble for front of the early cars (75 e12,Bavarian, CS, even though in the Bavarian parts catalog the line item labels the HDs as sports
Questions:
Is the front strut cartridge case the same for a 75 vs later 76-81 e12? If yes, then are the later stut cartridges interchangeable with the earlier cartridge, toruqe nut, strut-trower mount, etc? Lastly, anybody running Bilstein sport struts on an e12 or just HD's? TIA
