With "our own" James from Tasmania tearing up the tarmac in the renowned Targa Tasmania this week (Thanks Michael R for reminding me!) I thought I'd take a few minutes to keep the gang here up to date!
James' car is entered as a "77 Alpina" in the Touring Classic category. That means he can chose to go hard or not on the special stages.
After Leg 1 of 5 (Touring Classic):
1 Morris Mini Cooper S 0:01:19
2 BMW Alpina 0:01:56
3 Vauxhall Cresta 0:01:57
The times are "penalty times" - time penalties for going over nominated "base times" plus set penalties for certain infringements.
