Good tips - the carpet looked clean for what that's worth, but I will defintely take a look at the floor around the pedals and the rear footwells, when I get the car back. If it is related to what I mentioned re the framerail (so that's what its called) that would be a serious, serious issue indeed! Lets hope & pray!
