The other one I suspect is for the later e34 going by the years 88 - 89.
Refer to the FAQ (which I wrote) for installation. It is based on a RH Drive auto but I doubt there will be many things different.
The plastic fan shrowd sort of fits. Attaches to the top OK but you need to be invetive to fit it to the bottom of the radiator, or just get an e28 one from a wreckers yard.
