It will work but you'll have to modify the manifold to fit the M20 head. Several M20 engine owners have done so but it's alot of grinding and relieving to make it fit well. A much better bet would be to buy a ready made piece. As mentioned TCD is coming out with one and I've seen a couple on ebay now and then that are old Cartech or other old no longer in business vendors.
I too had thought about turboing my 325is... but sold it instead. It was a sweet car and I miss it. No matter as I finally have that extra B7 turbo engine which I picked up today. Looks good and it should be nice in that Sienna Yellow E12 I have sitting. Now the only question is which efi and ignition setup I should use? I'm thinking Electromotive HPX ignition and maybe efi.
