81 528i: I have what looks like a vacuum port/stem on the lower front side of the throttle body. It is capped of with a short length of red rubber tubing with a closed end. Is this used for service / tuneup diagnostics only or should it actually connect somewhere ? It is (I think) number 5 in this diagram :
