I am ready to pull the 2.8L. After mulling over the 3.5L engine conversion FAQ and puzzling removal of the trans rear deck/shift lever stuff, I wondered if I could pull the motor with bell housing forward enough, and just leave the trans sitting on its' mount, held up by the guibo coupling? I have a complete 3.5L motor with clutch/bell housing to slide in. Thanks, Chris.
