Sorry about the long post. this is my first post, so hopefully all goes well. I've been visiting your site since I first got my e12 last june. Since I bought the car, I have noticed a few small things, but the most pressing issue is the failing rear shock mount. I have looked all over the net for this part, and as far as I can tell the mount is out of production. Thanks to the info on this site, I've found out that the early E24('77-'82) rear shock mounts are compatible. Can anyone give me the name of a supplier of this part, any advice would be greatly appreciated. This is a fantastic site by the way.
