I'm with Peter, mods are fun. Probably better not to say you are "Restoring" however, since that means "returning to like-original condiditon".
For door poppers, look at AutoLoc. They are the source behind many of the kits on the market. The owner is a BMW enthusiast, used to have a wicked modded 320i.
