But try PeninsulaBM ($10 delivery to your door and good prices) - next day delivery. A 2nd-hand dizzy shouldn't cost too much. BMSpares in Dandenong also have reasonable prices and 'most anything (except undented E24 grilles, obviously), so you might want to get a quote from them as well.

Occasionally E12s and pre-86 (non-Motronic) E28s turn up at Pick-a-Part. I'm almost certain the dizzy is the same in the L-Jet E28s (my E12 and E28 use exactly the same dizzy rotor and cap, and electronic buzz box as well).

Haven't encountered any dizzy probs myself - touch wood. One of the guys in Melb (Mike R or Aaron) might be able to lend you a dizzy to see if that's the problem.
