Robert, I have had the really bad leaks and the no so bad ones with just the odor of fuel. How would a Goodyear mechanic know if they were leaking if he couldnt see the fuel somewhere, even residue shows up. Take a flashlite and look around the surface around the injectors. Best to remove the AFU stuff so that you can get in there for best viewing. You will see some residue from evaporation. And if not then start up with fire extinguisher at hand to be safest. Be prepared to turn her off really fast if need be. The nice thing is that if it is leaking you will see it, smell it. Goodyear mechanic huh? If nothing major, grab a 10MM open end and tighten em up, check again. I have had the fuel flowing onto the exhaust as I drove into the mechanics lot and no fire. But do have an extinguisher handy. Or go buy a new injector and replace the one(s) needed yourself. I would have if I had had another car at the time.
