Hi Troy,
Yes, I am familiar with Matt's scripts, they are great for the price, especially if you don't want to sit down and debug perl script for your cgi. Been there, done that. ;-) Best not to reinvent the wheel. MySql, yep, a pain, and probly would take more of your time to administer too. BUT, I have an idea that may work, for me at least. I normally have my history set for 0 days. If I'm not mistaken this also sets the length of time that M$ explorer "remembers" visited links, so since you archive every 30 days or so, I've set my history to 33 days just to be safe and see if this works. Some of the other people on this board might try it too. If it works, it would make and already great bulletin board even easier to find new posts. For Netscape, I'm almost positive that the length that you set your history for DOES control how long before a visited link turns back blue. What do you think??????

Cheers,
Bill.

PS Thanks for the work you put in for us. It is appreciated, I am sure, by all here.
