ROTFLOL, heheheh, three five, three five .... Oppps you almost got me thinking about a 3.5 motor. You know, if I could find one CLOSE and Cheap I would. I did some research today on the phone and in Pensacola there is a guy who will let me DIY. All the others remove the parts and charge 2/3 of new price. He has one 3 series later model w/6 cylinder and the other 2 he has are 4 cylinder. And he said he has 1/2 of a 5 series, which half I don't know. I will be there next Saturday, weather permitting, about 7am since he closes at noon. We will see what is there. Of course I'll have to remember to take my camera. Believe it or not the oil sump return was not broken, it was completely GONE! There is only gritty rust in the bottom of the pan that WAS the pick up tube. Even though I think I have seen the worst parts, I still wonder what looms ahead. But not to worry, I have great hopes of driving this car one day ... w/3.X motor ;-)
