You're the second person on this board to ask "how does that happen?" I had to go back and look at the previous post to see that it was Eric in Denver that asked that question in an earlier thread. Seems unbelievable, right? Well I guess after sitting abandon in a storage facility with water in the engine for 15 years ..., well you see the result. Its ashamed too, only 54K miles too. It's obvious to me that who owned it before me "had no clue." Another thing, when the PO noticed loss of water or overheating, they went and bought and used that Prestone stop leak. That stuff is all in whats left of the sump pickup tube, and the oil pump was completely locked up and full of the stuff. I'll check the crank and rod bearings tommorrow.
