Adam, As far as exhaust testing goes BORLA hands down. My 528i has really come to life. It has been on the car for over a year now and is making mellow sound and see you later at the stop light torque. Although I have been contemplating selling the panzer, it has been difficult to think about a car that I will be talking about later dreading it's departure. Back to the exhaust, BORLA makes a universal kit that will work. It will need bending and welding. My next choice would be going to a muffler shop with your plans based on your current muffler design adding in Borla universal mufflers. I'm running 2.25 single pipe straight back through a Magna Flow Cat and a BORLA Boomer series muffler. For your car I would recommend some type of dual pipe system utilizing 2.25 or 2.5 on up for a single pipe setup. Go to Borla.com.and Big exhaust.com for prices and other choices. Will Turner says Borla are the best mufflers for the "BIMMER". LOL
